Dear colleagues and friends,
on behalf of the organizing committee it is our great honor to invite you to the neurosurgical congress entitled Comenius University Neurosurgery Days - Bratislava Neurosurgery Days 2022, which is jointly organized by both neurosurgical departments of Comenius University: Department of Neurosurgery of Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University and University Hospital Bratislava and Department of Neurosurgery of Jessenius Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University and Martin University Hospital.
With this event, we would like to follow up on the first year of the Bratislava Neurosurgery Days, which took place in 2019 on the 50-year anniversary of the Department of Neurosurgery of Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University and University Hospital Bratislava. The successful course of this congress and following positive reactions instantly motivated us to make it a regular annual professional event. Although our plans were thwarted by the Covid-19 pandemic for two years, we were not discouraged.
As the name "Comenius University Neurosurgery Days" suggests, we have decided to expand the format of the event due to the long-term cooperation of our sister departments. We plan to alternate the location of the congress every year between Bratislava and Martin. Both departments will be involved in its organization, although the “home” department will always have more responsibility and more members in the organizing committee.
Our joint effort is to provide you not only with a quality professional program that reflects current knowledge and trends in modern neurosurgery and neuroscience, but also with a pleasant environment for professional discussions.
